The winter season is coming in a few months from now and my sister in UK is now looking for those ugg boots that I was telling her about last year or was it early this year. My sis said they are really comfortable being the world’s premier luxury brand of authentic sheepskin footwear. I could imagine based on what my sis relayed to me that once you slide your feet into those cozy shoes, you won’t ever want to step out of them.
My sis wants to buy one for the coming winter season and she was kidding me she is grateful we are far away from her or else we might ask from her those shoes that she will be buying for herself. Well there might be a sale out there where she could buy one and take one. I told her even if she will just send me those UGG slippers I saw online since the boots is not something I really need out here. Well she said she will think about it in ten years! Okay I might not wait that long for I know she’ll find a way to have a vacation here between now and that time.
Last night as the heavy rained pour down, it started to get so cold here inside the house with the A/C still on and after I ate a very cold sundae as the lil boy was sleeping. I wanted so much to go to bed early when it is raining and curl beside the lil boy on those ultimate heated mattress pads that are truly comfortable to use all throughout the year, even without the heat. It can be washed easily through machine wash and dry. My sister working and living abroad during one of our chats said she wanted to get those safe low-voltage mattress pads like this one shown here which I told her about before when the winter was really freezing cold out there. Last night, I wish we had that one too when it started to get really cold here!
It’s raining again and it’s quite a heavy rain this time. I am starting to feel under the weather and the last thing I want or need now is to get sick with colds or cough. That’s why I make sure the lil boy takes his vitamins regularly and I am planning to buy vitamins for hubby and me. We need some protection and to help keep us healthy. It will help us prevent viruses from making us weak and susceptible to illness with symptoms like colds, flu, fever, cough, and diseases. For the lil boy it is essential for his normal growth and development. Anyway, I hope this heavy rain will stop in awhile before hubby comes home. I don’t want him getting wet in the rain as he is still getting better from his cough.
It is super hot outside this afternoon and yet I feel it is so cold inside with the A/C on for the lil boy and because probably I am a little feverish still since last night even after a shower earlier before hubby left. Then this colds I have now that started yesterday afternoon is really bugging me coz it makes me drowsy and light-headed. I cannot focus much on my work at hand and I have to keep on trying to work. A life of a WAHM is like this sometimes… no sick leave and all work but at least I have flexi time at home.

Typhoon Santi (with international name Mirinae) is here and storm signal number 3 has been raised in Metro Manila already. To all my friends there let’s pray and stay safe. This typhoon is said to be quick but heavy rains and gusty winds. According to the news, Santi can be compared to the september 2006 Typhoon “Milenyo which hit Metro Manila.
