These were just three of the yummy birthday cupcakes from the first birthday party which the boys and I attended last Saturday. The mom of the celebrant who happen to be hubby’s former HS classmate was so kind to give me three pieces – one each for me and the boys. I was surprised to taste the cupcake as it was delicious chocolate moist cupcake. I did not want to eat the fondant icing toppings but it was too sweet to resist. The party and the food made me forget about diet and the diet supplements I have almost always been talking about here. These supplements are there anyway for the purpose of helping us lose weight when we cannot resist eating too much, right? Okay enough excuses made. But I have to tell you these yummy birthday cupcakes are indeed colorful and sweet temptations I wanna eat again.
A male friend was asking me what would be a great Valentine gift he could give to his wife. It took me awhile to answer because basically I don’t really personally know his wife but if I’d think of women in general I gave him some suggestions and my first was diamonds. Yes, I told him since for some of not most women say diamonds are their bestfriend. I then told this friend to see those loose diamond earrings and rings I have seen before and he could also give any other diamond jewelry that he thinks his wife would love to get.

I love weddings and if given a chance to have another one once again, I would wish it will be one of those destination weddings. The past few days aside from the music videos from weddings I have browsed through, I was also browsing through these possible destination for wedding venues where you can have a wedding like no other or your dream wedding in a tropical setting by the beach perhaps with the wonderful sunset to view and party all night long with you family and closest friends. There are resorts made for romantic escapades and venue for a special, intimate wedding. I can browse through these Mexico wedding packages all day long like today when the rain may keep me stay inside the house all day long.
Brazo de mercedes from Goldilocks, anyone? There is still a few more slices left and it must be consumed within today. We forgot to bring it to the party last Saturday since I put it back to the ref while waiting for the taxi to come. Then we forgot all about it as we carried all the things in our hurry to go out.
I love to eat it all but what about that diet talk? I still have quite a large part of the birthday cake to finish. Those diet pills I have browsed through last week crossed my mind. Standby and maybe I’ll be needing those when I cannot stop myself and keep on eating. But I guess this will pass after these sweet temptations will be gone. I have to go back to fasting and diet.
