I need to relax a little as the past few weeks has been busy for us with health concerns on the little boy. One of my ways to de-stress myself is doing a sound trip. I wish we have one of those MP3 players since the little boy won’t let me use the iPod Touch for the moment he sees me using it, he gets interested in playing one of his fave games in there. The music in my XpressMusic mobile phone has not been updated and am to lazy and busy to update it. I wish my sis will get me an MP3 player which she has promised a long, long time ago. LOL! Anyway, I’ll make do with my laptop and XpressMusic phone for now. Just a little sound trip plus power naps in between will surely help me relax, rest and recharge.
Time check fifteen minutes past nine. I woke up for the second time today as I heard silence when the A/C near me turned off and when I opened my eyes, the emergency light was already on. I woke up earlier on when hubby went to kiss me goodbye as he went out to work. I decided to sleep longer. Now I cannot work online. Might as well play with the little one who woke up just in time that the now two-hour rotational brownout started. This is our first two-hour brownout since it was announced Thursday late afternoon.
Just sharing something about our lil boy. He was singing a tune I know was from one of the songs in Barney and the lil one who turned three a month ago was singing what sounded like “elebest” over and over again while smiling and singing. I having not seen those Barney shows that we have on the lil boy’s MyBook for quite some time could not remember what those words/lyrics were. Yesterday, hubby figured out the lil boy must be trying to say “I’m the best” and that was what we were singing along with the lil boy yesterday every time he would bring up that song again. But I know it is not I’m the best. I could not remember those words or lyrics in any Barney song in the videos.
So today since the lil one woke up early because sadly his slight fever came back again, we decided to watch Barney per his request too until he falls back to sleep. And so we watched Barney. The first Barney video hubby played I know does not have that song. I know the next one does and to our amusement, we found out that the “enabest” the lil boy was singing is actually… elephants! Since we now know the word he was singing over and over again, we taught him to say it and he did immediately follow. Hubby and I had big smiles on our face. Finally we figured out the lyrics the lil boy was singing after all that puzzled us for a few days already.
“In any relationship, it’s really hard often frustrating when you’re the only one communicating and trying to work it all out. It has to be both sides.”
The lil boy likes to dance and his version of dance is to go smiling and laughing while going around in circles. He would pull me up from my chair and wants me to dance along with him whenever he hears a nice music. Who could not resist his smile and when he says “Dance Ma!” with a smile on his excited face. And so mommy stands up and dances along with the lil boy who becomes happier to have me to dance with him. Often we end up running around, skipping and jumping just having fun which I hope hubby is here to see this happen and share in the fun of dancing with our lil boy.
