I sudden craved for this mini Sans Rival from Margie’s Bakeshop as I browsed through my photos. This is delicious! In fact, it is kind of too sweet for me though I am used to very sweet cakes and pastries. Hubby bought this one for me last month and I would love to have this one again soon I hope! I just have to satisfy my craving for now by just looking at this till I can eat this again! Read the rest of this entry »

Mrs. Cubbison’s Garlic and Butter French Bread Croutons

Hubby and I went to the grocery to buy milk for the little boy and some other stuff for home. We were looking for something that the little one could possibly have for snacks at school when we came across this lane where I found this Mrs. Cubbison’s Garlic and Butter French Bread Croutons. It is prepared from freshly baked bread that is lightly toasted and perfectly seasoned. It is said that the goodness of this French bread croutons will enhance the flavor and appearance of any soup or salad.

I was thinking of making my own simple veggie salad and adding this to it. But we ended up opening the box of this croutons and eating it as is. I bought this hoping the little boy will come to like it. I remember he liked this one when we eat at Pizza Hut. But he has not tasted this one yet as he was not able to eat much even his pizza when he came home from school. If he does not like it, hubby and i might as well consume it.

Sliding Panels or Blinds

Hubby treated us to brunch at one of our fave seafoods resto just near here well actually near the mall. While we were waiting for our food  to be served, I cannot help but look at their windows. They have these fabric sliding panels on it that I have been wanting to have at home as an alternative to having blinds instead of the curtains in our front window in the living room so that we can easily at any time of the day, open up and let natural light into our simple living room and see what’s outside.

You know it’s always nice to have a great view of outside from inside the house. It’ll less likely make you have that feeling of being claustrophobic. So if and when we have a budget, we will still decide whether to get those sliding panels or have blinds and to the cabinet goes our curtain after it has been washed of course!

Fast Delivery & Delicious

Hubby gave me and the little boy a payday treat and we had food delivered even though it’s quite late at night yesterday. I took the chance to order my fave dessert a hot fudge sundae as a treat for such a rather busy day offline yesterday. I was suppose to suppress my appetite as I remember that phentermine I was reading about yesterday. There is an event next week that I was preparing and the reason why I really want to diet more the past few weeks.I hope I won’t get so desperate that i would have to starve myself but we all know that isn’t good and I know well the effects it will have on me.

Anyway, we were surprised that the food was delivered fast even on a rainy evening and their newly cooked chicken tastes delicious! Even hubby who already had dinner at the office was not able to resist eating again and what’s better is that the little boy ate with us too! He is really picky whith what he want to eat the past few days because of his tummy. But we are getting better and we’re also glad the fast food’s deliver service was great last night. Hope it will always be like that!

What Works

Do you really think eating less rice or having a no rice meal is one of the good diets that work? I wish I can say so but I think it is working a little bit for me except when I eat more in some other meals making me think somehow I just ate more what I didn’t eat in some of my other meals in a day. One thing for sure though is that trying to skip meals is not good and healthy. You would get ulcer from that practice. I could instantly remember my mom telling me never ever skip a meal. So what works? I am starting my research on this kind of diet I have long heard of before. It worked for a friend and her hubby most especially. But it is kind of expensive. There are ready to eat meal packs that they buy for that kind of diet. I am not sure though if I will find them here around town. But I can improvise I guess because for sure the ingredients can mostly be found here too.
