Meet Puss in Boots, part of the Shrek Forever After Happy Meal toys from the first wave or first set released. Took a shot of it in sepia as my entry for sepia scenes this week. Yes I decided to play this week since it has been awhile since I took part in SS.
I enjoyed Puss character in this last sequel of the movie. He got so big but still in boots. Hubby and I actually enjoyed watching the movie Shrek 4 in 3D though we have seen it already. Wish we can bring the lil boy to the cinema next time especially when we watch animated movies in 3D. I just hope he behaves well or else the cost of the ticket won’t be worth it at all.
Unless we really move to our own place first would I really decide on our furniture and I wish we would have enough budget by then to buy stuff such as one of these entertainment centers that I have been looking at for the past few minutes while the Grey’s Anatomy we’re watching is on commercial break. Stands And Mounts offer entertainment centers in almost every finish, material and style. They do have cabineted entertainment centers, large-screen projector stands, modular television stands with matching audio towers, as well as entertainment walls to choose from. I am gonna check it out if they may have the single recliner sofa I have been drooling over before my birthday.
I was thinking of looking for TV stand though where we could put both the LCD TV and the slim fit TV together but I realized that would not be a good decision coz when the two TVs would be turned on and they are placed at the same home entertainment center then that would be chaos unless one would be muted while the other one would prevail. We would have to get two and a good placement around the house by then. For now though, these two TVs are in the living room when hubby transferred the small one last week from the bedroom so I can still watch TV in the old while the lil boy is watching his fave cartoons in the LCD. So far it is working but one has to sacrifice though a little sometimes.
It is something I have done oh so many times when I wanna do something while at the same time there are other pending things waiting for me at home. We just got home from church and from dinner out to treat the lil boy to his fave slide. Now since I let go of a few hours, I am now multi-tasking… listening and watching in between the latest American Idol episode which I don’t wanna miss and doing my research for my sis who asked me to look into this nodular acne and wow I was quite surprised to know this is one of the most destructive type of acne which are the size of erasers. Therefore this calls for the right treatment and prevention if possible. It is definitely the last thing anyone would want on their face.
Now I also remembered, I also have to sterilize my son’s bottles, transfer photo files from the camera to my laptop, then charge the batteries and not to forget charge my cellphone. Plus I have to look for some important papers we need tomorrow. All of these things have to be done tonight coz there will be other things to do altogether again tomorrow.
Just sharing something about our lil boy. He was singing a tune I know was from one of the songs in Barney and the lil one who turned three a month ago was singing what sounded like “elebest” over and over again while smiling and singing. I having not seen those Barney shows that we have on the lil boy’s MyBook for quite some time could not remember what those words/lyrics were. Yesterday, hubby figured out the lil boy must be trying to say “I’m the best” and that was what we were singing along with the lil boy yesterday every time he would bring up that song again. But I know it is not I’m the best. I could not remember those words or lyrics in any Barney song in the videos.
So today since the lil one woke up early because sadly his slight fever came back again, we decided to watch Barney per his request too until he falls back to sleep. And so we watched Barney. The first Barney video hubby played I know does not have that song. I know the next one does and to our amusement, we found out that the “enabest” the lil boy was singing is actually… elephants! Since we now know the word he was singing over and over again, we taught him to say it and he did immediately follow. Hubby and I had big smiles on our face. Finally we figured out the lyrics the lil boy was singing after all that puzzled us for a few days already.
Playing games online can be addicting and I would not wonder why many blogger friends bought the Xbox 360 along with xbox accessories that will enhance their interactive and fun gaming experience. I would not deny, I was tempted to canvass for this last year and I just wish we’d get one this year. I hope that won’t just remain to be a wish in my wish list but a reality that would be made possible by the blessings we will receive this year.
