Let’s take a break and look at this what seems to me is a pedestrian lane near a school. This was just shared by one of my friends.

Cosmetology Education

Filed Under (Career, Education, Info) by tere on 11-08-2010

As I have mentioned in my previous post that I had my hair cut last week. The salon that I went had this so called option for the customer to choose either a senior or a junior staff who will cut your hair. I wonder what would be the difference aside from their position and price of the hair cut. Anyway, I just chose the junior staff since I didn’t need any drastic changes in my haircut and I want to save too.

While the salon staff was doing work, my mind began to wonder what if they had undergone any cosmetology education like those being offered by cosmetology schools in Wichita or were they just trained by the Korean owner of the salon. Those schools are comprehensive and they will let you learn the beauty business from A to Z. Plus they have fully equipped and fabulous facilities just like those upscale salons. Sometimes I wonder what if I’d find time in the future for some Cosmetology Education and who knows we might venture into the salon business.

Studious Student

I was happy that my classmates still remember me as a “studious student” way back in high school. That was what some wrote on their past impressions of me during our high school reunion last night at the Marco Polo. Yes high school was probably the best stage of my school life. I am proud to say I excelled in my studies most during that phase of school life and that was the phase in school life that I know I enjoyed the most. College life was different in a way. Now I can wish and pray that my little boy will also be a studious student all throughout his school life and hopefully excel as well.

Missed School

The little boy has missed school for the entire week this week because he was sick. I am just thankful that the school system is flexible and flowing unlike the usual and traditional preschool. He will be able to catch up on the school work and activities on his own pace. I hope they would really go easy on the little boy as his teacher assured me that when she called Tuesday to know the condition of the little boy. Hubby and I plan to let him go back to school by monday and I hope he is really well by then so that the teacher would need not give much attention to the little boy’s health but just on him catching up with school work.

Happy for the Lil Boy

I am happy for the lil boy because last Monday at the start of his second week in regular preschool, he went inside the school and into his classroom with no more delay, much hesitation and crying since he has to be carried inside the classroom during the first week sometimes. I am happy he is finally adjusting to his new school environment.Hooray for the lil boy! I had no problems like this even with his first and old school where he went for summer class just last summer. He was always excited to go to school and see Teacher B then everyday even on weekends when they don’t have class.

Anyway, now when he comes home he is happy as always with a smile in his face telling em things went well in school for him. Then he knocks at the door or window in the house looking for me and calling out “Mama!” He also won’t leave the house without us exchanging flying kisses to each other. I would tell him always when he leaves to say “Hello Teacher!” while he smiles blows a last flying kiss while pulling his Cars stroller bag.
