Thankful

This is a day to be thankful to the Lord for making me busy with work! Being busy for me and my online friends means one thing and that means we have work opportunities here and there. Though I know my other friends have a lot more opportunities than what I have but we are all thankful for these blessings. It lets us pay off our bills and save more as I continue to work hard for our lil boy. May the Lord keep pouring unto us those blessings and we will never tire of thanking and doing them even if it means working on a holiday we would not really mind. For we know this hard work will be rewarded. I am also so thankful to my friends at this kind of work that I do (they know who they are)  for the blessings they share to me and my boys. God bless you more!

Cosmetology Education

As I have mentioned in my previous post that I had my hair cut last week. The salon that I went had this so called option for the customer to choose either a senior or a junior staff who will cut your hair. I wonder what would be the difference aside from their position and price of the hair cut. Anyway, I just chose the junior staff since I didn’t need any drastic changes in my haircut and I want to save too.

While the salon staff was doing work, my mind began to wonder what if they had undergone any cosmetology education like those being offered by cosmetology schools in Wichita or were they just trained by the Korean owner of the salon. Those schools are comprehensive and they will let you learn the beauty business from A to Z. Plus they have fully equipped and fabulous facilities just like those upscale salons. Sometimes I wonder what if I’d find time in the future for some Cosmetology Education and who knows we might venture into the salon business.

Back to School

It’s time for students to go back to school here. In fact other schools have already started last Monday that is why my sis surprisingly reported late for work as she was caught on traffic. I am excited for the lil boy’s start of preschool class and orientation tomorrow. I feel like am going back to school myself. I am excited.

On the other hand, I was also surprised when a old friend and mom of three has told me that she is going back to school herself. She has the whole day free now as all her kids are back to school once again. She wants to be productive with her time and she is trying to research college degrees and find an interesting course that she can enroll in. I recently found these new online degrees and one can search by degree level, degree program, online school, campus based school, or vocational program that you may be interested in. I ahve told my mommy friend about this and she said she will look into it.

It also made me think of getting a short term course if there is any like a vocational training course or something. But this is something hubby and I have still to discuss if we can also afford any one of us going back to school.

Beautiful Career

I cannot forget these group of proud and talented gay beauticians who take pride in their so-called beautiful career since they make people feel and look beautiful. Being a beautician they say is having a beautiful career. They enjoy what they do and a lot of people are glad to have them and their talent for making people beautiful or more beautiful. It would be nice to have more thoroughly modern, professional, and salon-like beauty schools such as those Cosmetology school in Arkansas which has a unique learning program for their students. What is good is that they have good facilities and at the same time they have industry partners who eventually hire their graduates. What is more beautiful than having a ready career for their students. I know a few people who did take some lessons in this field. it is interesting to know they explored to this field given they already have another career totally different from this yet they love this new career.

Little Chef Summer Workshop 2010-Mae's Kitchen

Let you kids ages 5 to 10 years old attend this Little Chef’s Summer Cooking and Baking Workshop for Kids. It will be a fun, learning experience for your child this summer. If my lil boy is only two years older now, I am interested in letting him join this cooking and baking workshop. This is one creative way for kids to spend their summer productively.

I have seen some during previous bazaars we have visited where there are kids being taught to decorate their own cupcakes and other things like that. I just wonder if my lil boy would be interested in cooking and baking or in eating instead of learning. LOL! Maybe I can cook and bake then he eats and judges my finished product. It’s be a fun experience!

Who knows this may be a start to you lil one on his journey in being a chef? They may be able to make business out of this later on in life especially the moms too.
